Start your hockey journey in our Learn To Skate or Calling All Athlete classes. Nail down the fundamental skating techniques and skills for hockey players in a fun environment.

Learn To Skate:
Whether you are destined figure skating or hockey we have skating classes for Tots (3-5) & children ages 6 & up.

Calling All Athletes:
Bauer Welcome Event, Twelve (12) Learn To Play Hockey Sessions & Head to Toe Bauer Equipment To Keep
Boys & Girls Ages 6-10 years old

Learn to Play Hockey – Rookie Program

Learn to Play Hockey is a skills program designed to introduce the game of hockey to young players. The goal is to teach each player the game of hockey, in a positive and enjoyable learning environment, ensuring they will not only learn the fundamentals of the game, but will have a fun time learning.

Mite Development

It’s time to transfer your skills to game play! The Mite Developement format includes both game play and practice drills at each session. Learn team concepts and continue developing your skating and stick skills!

Tier 1 Spartans Youth Hockey

The core roots of player skill development is our first priority combined with having players competing at the right level of competition.  The Seacoast Spartans is an Elite Hockey organization and as such we are committed to developing the best hockey players but also just as importantly strong young leaders.

Excellent coaching, highly-competitive league, tournament competition and access to international programming all serve to “stretch” Seacoast Spartans players’ abilities and attitudes, building self esteem in a variety of areas, all while having fun with their friends!

Seacoast Performance Academy (SPA) provides every student-athlete with all the resources to exceed their aspirations with a 21st-century education, daily professional skill development & training, and best in class full season athletics schedule. SPA focuses on a pathway to college development with three specific goals: strong academic focus, athletic development, and life skills/experiences.

How often should I practice?

It is recommended that skaters practice at least one other time per week. Please check our monthly calendar for stick & puck and public skating hours.

Which equipment is provided in the free gear program?

First-time hockey players receive the following equipment for free on their 1st day of class. Jersey and socks, stick, helmet with cage, shin pads, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, hockey pants, hockey bag Skates are not included in the free gear program but rental skates are available until you are ready to get fitted for your own pair. When you enroll in our Calling All Athletes program, your gear will be provided for you.
